Children are our most precious cargo, it’s important to keep them protected by using a proper and safe child safety seat that not only fits your child best, but also your vehicle, and is properly installed. The Governor’s Highway Safety Program is here to help. Below is a list of locations across West Virginia where your child's seat can be checked, free of charge, by a Safe Kids™ certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician to ensure that each of these safety measures are being met.
Please note: The locations below provide numerous public services, so it's important to contact the Fitting Station and contact person directly at the phone number listed for them to make an appointment, and obtain any information needed before arriving. Although we have linked some of the Fitting Stations to their agency’s social media pages, if they have any, please DO NOT contact them for child safety seat installation via social media, as we cannot be certain social media pages are monitored regularly.
