US 35 ENVIRONMENTAL REEVALUATION AND TOLLING POTENTIAL
PUTNAM AND MASON COUNTIES
The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) will be holding Informational Workshop Public Meetings on Monday, July 12, 2010 in the Mason County Courthouse
(Handout), located at
200 Sixth Street, Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in the Putnam County Courthouse
(
Handout), located at 3389 Winfield Road, Winfield, West Virginia. The project consists of completing the last 14
mile gap section of US 35 between Beech Hill (Mason County Route 40) and Pliny (WV 869 at the Buffalo Bridge).
The scheduled workshops are from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., WITH A BRIEF PRESENTATION AT 6 P.M. EACH DAY on the status of the US 35 Project including potential tolling
options. Before and after the presentations, participants will have an opportunity to visit informational stations, ask questions, and state their views and opinions on
the US 35 Environmental Reevaluation and Tolling Potential. Highways officials will provide information, including a handout, on the project.
