WV 45 Traffic Operations & Safety Study

The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) will hold an informational public meeting on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Orchard View Intermediate School, located at 1455 Delmar Orchard Road, Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia on the WV 45 (Apple Harvest Drive) Traffic Operations & Safety Study.  The study area along WV 45 ranges from Blue Ridge Community & Technical College and extends east approximately 1.46 miles to New York Avenue in Martinsburg, Berkeley County.  The purpose of the study is to evaluate current and future traffic conditions, identify potential deficiencies, and develop alternative improvements to enhance traffic flow along the corridor.  This meeting complies with the public involvement requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. 

NO FORMAL PRESENTATION WILL BE MADE.  The scheduled public meeting is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the public will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions and give written comments on the project throughout the meeting. A handout with project details will be available at the meeting.
