NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC MEETING AND COMMENT ON THE
PROPOSED PARTIAL ABANDONMENT OF COUNTY ROUTE 88/26 (0.46 MILE) LOCATED
IN MARSHALL COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA
The West Virginia Division of Highways hereby provides notice of the proposed partial abandonment of County Route 88/26, beginning at a point on CR 88/26, said point being 0.76 mile south-
west of the junction of CR 88/26 and CR 88/13, said point also being the junction of CR 88/26 and CR 88/28; thence southwesterly 0.46 mile and ending, as located in Marshall County, West Virginia. Total length proposed to be abandoned is 0.46 mile.

The District is requesting the abandonment on behalf of an adjacent property owner. The adjacent property owner is Ohio County Coal Resources, Inc. (“OCCR”). The road is in an area OCCR
wants to use as a future impoundment/embankment area. Information related to the proposed partial abandonment may also be found at http://go.wv.gov/roadabandonments.
