CHARLESTON, W.Va.- DMV Commissioner Pat Reed was on-hand this morning at
the Barboursville Little General on US Route 60 East to promote the newest DMV
kiosk. The press event, which began at 10:30 am, focused on the
easy-to-use, customer centered kiosks, which now allow for the processing of
driver’s license renewals, in addition to the instant printing of vehicle
registration renewal cards and decals. According to Commissioner Reed,
“Our new kiosks are making DMV transactions easier and quicker for our
customers needing to renew their driver’s license and vehicle
registration. We encourage customers to ‘Skip the Line’ and visit one of
our new kiosks, with locations now in Barboursville, Beckley, Kanawha City and
Star City. More kiosks and kiosk services will be added soon for the
convenience of our customers.”
The Huntington Chamber of Commerce, and several DMV
staff and supporters were in attendance, and customers were encouraged to get
their driver’s license and/or vehicle registration renewed.
