CHARLESTON, WV - Customers in the central part of the state that need new title and license plate transactions may now make an appointment to visit the Flatwoods DMV Regional Office. The Flatwoods office is also offering driver's license knowledge and skills testing, dealer salesperson testing, new driver's licenses and ID cards, as well as out-of-state transfers by appointment. Customers needing assistance with other vehicle transactions, such as registration renewals, may complete them through the mail, by visiting DMV's online services portal, a local kiosk, or sheriff's department. Additional title work may be done through local title and licensing agencies across the state.
DMV also reminds customers that expiration dates after March 1, 2020, for vehicle registrations and driver's licenses have been extended through August 1, 2020; instruction permits through September 30, 2020.
