The mission of the Information Technology Division is to acquire, process, and administer data and provide data-driven solutions for every business process’s decision making at the Department of Transportation while promoting the most efficient use of resources such as personnel, assets, and investments for the maximum benefit of transportation throughout the State of West Virginia.
With the perpetuation of this mission, this clear strategic direction will help the Department of Transportation increase productivity, efficiency, accountability, and transparency while providing a safe and effective transportation system for the citizens, goods, and services that support economic prosperity throughout the State of West Virginia.
