DOH to Hold Public Hearing Concerning the Coal Resource Transportation Road System in Greenbrier and Pocahontas Counties

The Coal Resource Transportation Designation Committee and the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in the cafeteria at Greenbrier West High School at 1 Cavalier Drive, Charmco, West Virginia on the proposal by South Fork Coal Company to add 5.50 miles of CR 10/1 and 1.23 miles of CR 39/4 in Greenbrier County and 0.94 mile of CR 29/4 in Pocahontas County to the Coal Resource Transportation Road System.


The scheduled public hearing is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. (or later if additional time is needed). The hearing will afford participants an opportunity to ask questions and state their views and opinions on the proposal. A formal presentation by South Fork Coal Company representatives will commence at 6:00 p.m. Committee members and WVDOH personnel will also be on hand to present information and receive public input.
