Paving operations will be conducted on Middle Cove Road, County Route 59/1, from mile point 0.00 to mile point 1.99, in Hardy County, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., beginning on Monday, September 15, 2025, through Thursday, September 18, 2025. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. Only school buses, emergency vehicles, and local traffic will be allowed through the work zone due to the narrow width of the roadway. Motorists should expect long delays and are asked to travel with caution through the work zone. Please use an alternate route, if possible. Exact schedule is weather-dependent.
