The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that, beginning Tuesday, January 12, 2021, there will be single lane restrictions on Ohio Route 7 from just south of Aetna Street in Martins Ferry up until the Bridgeport Exit. These restrictions are required for the installation of traffic control signage in preparation of the upcoming eastbound I-70 detour. All conflicting signage will be covered until the detour is implemented. The restrictions will take place from 8 AM to 5PM and will be lifted no later than Thursday, January 14, 2021.
