NOTICE FOR COMBINED RIGHT OF WAY SERVICES
Notice is hereby given by the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, Right of Way Division, that combined right of way services will be utilized for the following project:
Parkersburg – St. Mary’s Road, State Project: U354-2-23.11 07; Federal Project: NHPP-0002(595)D, Wood County, West Virginia; The project consists of 89 parcels (80 families, 9 businesses) with 23 of those needing relocation services.
Proposals will be received from prequalified West Virginia vendors currently on the WVDOT, DOH’s Approved Pre-qualified list for combined right of way services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020. Registration is required with the Department of Administration, Division of Purchasing, in accordance with Chapter 5A, Article 3, Section 12 of the West Virginia Code.
Interested parties should request a letter of interest containing all necessary information by contacting Mr. Tim Whitener via email at [Tim.J.Whitener@wv.gov]. Information regarding qualification requirements necessary for inclusion on the WVDOT, DOH’s Approved Combined Right of Way Services List is available by contacting Mr. Tim Whitener via email at [Tim.J.Whitener@wv.gov].
The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and publicly opening proposals for any project designated in this advertisement, without the necessity of renewing such advertisement. All bidders obtaining valid bidding proposals as provided above will be notified of such deferment, delay or postponement and the date that proposals will be received and publicly opened.
The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
The above project is currently scheduled for work to begin in the first calendar quarter of 2020. Firms interested in being considered for this project must submit a letter of interest and unpriced prospectus to Mr. Ward Lefler, Director, Right of Way Division, WV Division of Highways, Building Five, Room 820, 1900 Kanawha Boulevard, East, Charleston, West Virginia 25305-0430 or via email to tim.j.whitener@wv.gov prior to 4:00 p.m., January 17, 2020.
