Richlands Interchange

The Richlands Interchange project is being considered to help relieve traffic congestion and provide better I-64 access to and from the Lewisburg area.  The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) is currently studying traffic habits and patterns within and around Lewisburg.  Adding an interchange at the proposed US 60 or CR 60/12 location would provide additional access to US 219 near the southern end of Lewisburg.  The conceptual plan consists of constructing a new interchange at the Interstate 64 and US 60 crossover at Richlands or the Interstate 64 and CR 60/12 crossover.  To date, this has been a planning-level study.

An Informational Public Workshop about the Richlands Interchange project will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the WV Army National Guard, Lewisburg Readiness Center, 659 Industrial Park Road, Maxwelton, WV. Meeting Handout [7MB PDF]
