Technicians are required to attain Technical Development Hours (TDH’s) and progressive technical experience in order to advance to a higher certification level. The requirement showing the number of TDH’s necessary for advancement can be found in Section V of the Rules and Regulations.
Please be advised that a certification fee of $100 is required to process your certification application. Some employers, such as the WV DOH, will pay this fee for their employees.
NOTE: The $100.00 application review fee will be waived for all college graduates that apply within one year of graduation.
