West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) bridge crews have completed concrete repairs in the eastbound slow lane of Interstate 64 on the Fort Hill Bridge, and are waiting for the concrete to cure.

An approximately 8-by-15-foot section of concrete failed around 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025. WVDOH repair crews immediately closed the slow lane to organize repairs.

Crews began pouring fresh concrete on the morning of Saturday, March 29, 2025. The WVDOH hopes to reopen the slow lane on Sunday, March 30, 2025, after the concrete has had time to cure.
