Lane and ramp closures scheduled on I-77 and I-64 in Charleston beginning Friday, October 23, 2026

There will be alternating lanes closures on Interstate 64 and Interstate 77, between the 36th Street Bridge and Leon Sullivan Way, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026, to allow for paving and striping on the interstate and several entrance and exit ramps.
 
The 36th Street Bridge northbound entrance ramp will be completely closed during paving. The northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps at Greenbrier Street and Leon Sullivan way will also have periodic delays and closures for ramp paving and striping.
 
Work is expected to by complete by noon on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
