Lane and shoulder closures near Interstate 77/Interstate 79 split scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026

CHARLESTON, WV – The northbound shoulder and slow lane of Interstate 77 and Interstate 79, and the southbound fast lane, will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2026, near the I-77/I-79 split, for removal of an overhead sign structure.
 
There will be temporary rolling roadblocks during the night.
