The eastbound fast and center lanes on Interstate 64 will be closed across the Eugene Carter Bridge in Charleston, from 6 a.m. until approximately noon on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for bridge assessment and pothole patching.
The bridge is scheduled for a complete deck replacement beginning in 2027.
