There will be intermittent, complete lane closures on southbound Interstate 79 at the West Virginia/Pennsylvania state line (mile marker 160), between the hours of 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and 6 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2026, to allow for the placement of steel beams on the Wade’s Run Bridge.
Southbound travelers can get off I-79 at Mount Morris, Pennsylvania (Exit 1), head south on US 19, and get back on I-79 at Star City, West Virginia (Exit 155).
