Road Closure from Joyce Street Exit to Chestnut Street Exit, Eastbound and Westbound, Beginning Friday, November 14, 2025

There will be a complete road closure, from the Joyce Street exit to the Chestnut Street exit, on US 50 in Clarksburg, westbound and eastbound, running nightly, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., beginning Friday, November 14, 2025, until Sunday November 16, 2025, for removal of existing beams from bridge structures. The roadway will remain open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., a single lane in each direction, with a maximum width of 16 feet.
 
During this time, please use the designated detour through downtown Clarksburg. Exits include: Joyce Street, South Chestnut Street and West Pike Street.
 
This will be a Road Closure. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
