There will be a temporary road closure by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on County Route 16/2, Pepper Road, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning intermittently on Sunday, June 1, 2025, until early Fall, to install a piling wall.
The main closures will begin Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
The road will be made passable in case of an emergency. Locals are encouraged to use an alternate route.
