Two lanes of I-64 to be closed on South Charleston interstate bridge for expansion joint repair

The eastbound fast lane and middle lane on Interstate 64 over the South Charleston interstate bridge will be closed from 4 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m. today, March 24, 2025, for an expansion joint repair.
 
Work is being done between mile marker 53 and mile marker 54. The bridge carries I-64 over the Kanawha River.
