West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky are geared up for winter weather

Image
Yellow dump trucks equipped with large snowplows sit parked in front of a dome-shaped road salt storage facility.

It won’t be long before snow starts flying in the Tri-State, and teams from Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia are prepped and ready for whatever Mother Nature brings.

Members of the media are invited to talk with teams from each state about their plans for dealing with ice and snow this winter. Each state is performing maintenance checks on their trucks and equipment, stockpiling materials like salt, and ensuring drivers are trained and ready to go.

Plow truck drivers will also be available to share what they see behind the wheel and an important safety message for other drivers on the road.
