Westbound lane closure on I-64 at Montrose Drive Overpass Bridge scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026

Westbound lanes of Interstate 64 will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, through 5 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, to allow beams to be set for the new Montrose Drive Overpass Bridge deck.
 
Westbound traffic will be detoured onto the Montrose Drive ramp and back off.
 
Eastbound lanes were closed the night of Tuesday, April 28.
 
In July, Triton Construction Inc. was awarded a contract for $23,109,380 to replace the Montrose Drive Overpass Bridge over I-64, the bridge over First Avenue, and the bridge over Second Avenue in South Charleston.
