WVDOT to Host Public Meeting for Cameron Road Widening Project in Marshall County

The West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) will host a public informational workshop to discuss the proposed widening of Cameron Road in Marshall County. This project is designed to improve traffic flow and safety along the regional corridor. WVDOT officials will be available to present design alternatives and gather local insights during the early stages of development.
The meeting will follow an open-house format. There will be no formal presentation, allowing residents to arrive at any time during the three-hour window to review project maps, speak with engineers, and submit feedback.
Environmental and Historical Resource Review
As part of the project's development, the WVDOT is seeking specific input on two key regulatory areas:
- NEPA: Potential environmental effects as required by the National Environmental Policy Act.
- Section 106: Feedback regarding local historical resources in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act.
