Programming Division

The Programming Division provides tracking, analysis, and technical support for all projects in the HUB project tracking application. We support the development and funding of all the Department of Highways projects including State, Federal, Bond, Emergency, and Other funded projects. Programming provides project oversight and reporting for the various development divisions, districts, Federal Highways, and all citizens. We assist in the coordination of the Metropolitan Planning Organizations’ Transportation Improvement Program (MPOs TIP) and the development of the Federal and State Transportation Improvement Programs (STIP) to maintain data accuracy across the lifecycle of projects.

The Critical Liaison and Data Coordinator

The division acts as a vital bridge between various development divisions, regional districts, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). By maintaining the Project Tracking System, the division ensures absolute data accuracy across the entire project lifecycle.

• Project Programming: Managing the complex funding structures of State and Federal transportation projects.
• Strategic Planning Coordination: Aligning Federal and State Statewide Transportation Improvement Programs (STIPs) with Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs).
• System Management: Oversight of the Project Tracking System to maintain real-time data integrity.
