12 Miles of Highway under Construction in Mingo County

Two lanes of the King Coal Highway is being constructed and paved in Mingo County From Mary Taylor Mountain near Red Jacket to Horse Pen Mountain near Gilbert, WV Construction is still continuing on the Horse Pen Connector with Route 44 and should be finished later this year most of the 12 miles of two-lane highway been paved and is awaiting the connector this section travels near the new Mingo Central High School.
