For ELT Service Providers​

If you are an ELT Service Provider, West Virginia provides two service levels that you can certify to offer to your lienholder customers: a Batch Service, and a Real-Time API Service.

  • The batch service reflects the AAMVA standard for ELT, and processes liens nightly.
  • The ELT API Service provides a real-time integration for lien processing. Some lenders may find that a real-time offering helps improve their efficiency when processing electronic liens.​

Cost for ELT Participation

There is no signup or annual fee for becoming a certified ELT Service Provider in West Virginia. Fees for using the ELT service are owed from the ELT Service Provider (on behalf of their lienholder customer) on a per transaction basis at the time of lien perfection. Statutory fees are collected as they have been historically.​
