The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) unit administers the United States Department of Transportation's (USDOT) DBE program. The purpose of the DBE program is to encourage, cultivate, and support equal opportunities for firms owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in accordance with Title 49, Part 26 of the Code of Federal Regulations on USDOT-assisted contracts.
