CHARLESTON- The West Virginia Division of Highways announces that it will hold two public informational meetings to discuss Governor Justice’s Roads to Prosperity program and provide important information about its first major project, I-64 from Milton to US 35.  The first meeting is Monday, March 26 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Municipal Building.  The second meeting will take place at the Milton Middle School on Thursday, March 29, also from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

“This is an exciting time within the Division of Highways as we begin to roll out the major projects as part of Governor Justice’s Roads to Prosperity program,” stated Secretary of Transportation Tom Smith.  “It is important that we communicate as much information as we can, to the traveling public, about the impact these projects will have on traffic and these informational meetings will do just that.”

Among the discussion points will be project details, tentative dates, traffic control and transportation resources to get updates and monitor progress of the project.
