Finance and Administration
WV DOT Finance and Administration Division
The West Virginia Department of Transportation (DOT) Finance and Administration Division is responsible for the comprehensive financial management and administrative support of the agency. The division reports directly to the Department of Transportation Business Manager.
Organizational Structure
The Finance and Administration Division is comprised of four specialized sections, each dedicated to maintaining the fiscal integrity of the DOT:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Federal Aid
- Purchase Card / Travel
Services Provided
The Finance and Administration team strives to provide superior customer service through a wide range of financial operations, including but not limited to:
- Processing agency vendor invoices for payment.
- Collection and deposit of agency receivables.
- Cash management of agency funds.
- Processing Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) billings.
- Maintaining agency financial statements and mandatory reporting.
- Administration of the agency purchase card program.
