Geotechnical Section
The Geotechnical Section of the Technical Support Division provides full-service geotechnical engineering to the entire West Virginia Department of Transportation for the planning, design, and construction of safe and affordable bridges, roads, and other transportation structures used by the traveling public. In support of these objectives, this site is intended to provide information and guidance concerning our methods and procedures.
