BLUEFIELD SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL

MERCER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA ​​

The City of Bluefield, WV, in partnership with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (WVDOH) is seeking input on their project converting four (4) key intersections into roundabouts and safety improvements to three (3) corridors in Bluefield, West Virginia. An informational public meeting will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Bluefield Arts Center, located at 500 Bland Street, Bluefield, WV, 24701. This meeting complies with the public involvement requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act of 1966. 

NO FORMAL PRESENTATION WILL BE MADE 

The public meeting will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and the public will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions and give written comments on the project throughout the meeting. A handout with project details will be available at the meeting and on the project websites.
