The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is a federally required document that provides the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) a listing of all projects that are candidates for federal-aid or regionally significant projects that are not using federal-aid. This capital improvement plan is fiscally constrained and covers a six year period. Federal agencies are mainly concerned with the first four years of this document; the final two years are for informational purposes. Presently, the STIP is updated on an biennial basis and runs on a federal fiscal year (October 1 – September 30).
The 2020- 2025 STIP has been approved and a copy of this document can be viewed and/or downloaded by clicking on the links below.

Once the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) has been federally approved, changes in the document could result in an amendment or adjustment. The following link shows approved amendments for the current STIP.
Once an amendment has been federally approved, the resulting changes are shown in the Dynamic Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (DSTIP). This document is set up in the same format as the project listing in the approved STIP, but it also shows changes (cost, funding, status) resulting from amendments and adjustments.
