The Washington Avenue Bridge, in the Woodsdale area of Wheeling, will be closed, beginning Tuesday, December 2, 2025, through December 2026, for bridge replacement. Traffic will be controlled using message boards. Motorists are advised to follow the detours.
Alternate Routes: Use US 40, westbound traffic use Mt. DeChantal Road (Exit 2A), and eastbound use Exit 5.
