Legal Section

The Legal Section of the Right of Way Division functions as the Division's in-house counsel in that it prepares or approves documents relating to the acquisition and disposition of property and rights of the West Virginia Division of Highways. It offers continuing counsel to right of way personnel on legal questions and issues.  This section also conducts and/or procures by contract the title searches and property closings related to the acquisition and disposition of property and right of ways.
