The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that, beginning Tuesday, January 12, 2021, there will be single right lane restrictions on the I-70 Westbound 1st Bridge East from just beyond Exit 1B to approximately Wheeling Tunnel. These restrictions are required for the installation of temporary electrical in preparation for the upcoming Eastbound I-70 detour. All conflicting signage will be covered until the detour is implemented. The restrictions will take place from 9AM to 3PM and should be lifted by Friday, January 15, 2021 weather dependent.
