WVDOT is hiring equipment operators and mechanics in District 4 NOW!

The WVDOT is hosting a hiring event from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday March 19, 2024, at the Kingwood Community Building, 115 Brown Ave., Kingwood, WV 26330. On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the WVDOT is hosting a hiring event from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at DOH Monongalia Headquarters, 1510 Grafton Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508. At both events, the district is looking for Transportation Worker 1 & 2 Equipment Operators and Transportation Worker 2 Mechanics.

Gov. Jim Justice’s $2.8 billion Roads to Prosperity highway maintenance and construction program and Secondary Roads Initiative created the immediate need for thousands of transportation workers, engineers, equipment operators, bridge inspectors, administrators, and others who would be needed to bring the Governor’s vision to fruition.
