Ritchie
County – West
Virginia Division of Highways announces that minor delays are expected on Ritchie
County Route 28, Prunty Road, at milepost 2.65, beginning on Tuesday, September
5, 2017.

Contracting will be repairing a slip on Prunty Road, at milepost 2.65,
approximately six tenths of a mile west of the intersection with Ritchie County
Route 19, Goffs Road, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
Motorists are asked to slow down,
use caution and obey the direction of all traffic control devices, including
flagging personnel, when traveling through the work zone.
The
work should be complete by September 27, 2017; however, please be advised that
inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the schedule or
anticipated completion date.
This
work is part of Highways’ efforts to cooperate with the oil and gas industry,
in this case Columbia Gas Transmission, as they upgrade roadways in an effort
to minimize damages to routes due to repetitive heavy hauling.
