Members of the King Coal Highway I-73/74 Authority traveled to Washington
DC to meet with the West Virginia Congressional Delegation on October 14,
2011 to seek funding for the King Coal and Tolsia Highways. The authority
requested funding for projects on the Tolsia Highway in Wayne County, and
projects in Mercer County, Mingo County, and McDowell County on the King
Coal Highway, they also ask for letters of support for a Tiger 3 Grant.
