Railroads & Utilities

The Railroads & Utilities Section of the Right of Way Division facilitates the coordination necessary when utility relocations (public or private) are required in conjunction with highway projects. This effort starts with verification of existing facilities, continues with relocation design approval and executing reimbursement agreements, and ends with verification of facilities relocated. This unit also handles all railroad coordination for construction and maintenance projects.
