Training and Development Optional COVID-19 Online Training

The Cornell Local Roads (NY LTAP) has several manuals that might be useful. Please note the comments listed for each resource, as a few do have NY specific items that probably differ from WV standards.

WV LTAP  website has several resources. The quickest way to access these resources in through the COVID-19 Resources for Public Works Agencies found in the orange line at the top of the page

1. You’ll find archived e-newsletters and updates that contain links to PDFs that can be read online or downloaded and printed. 

2. TRAINING

Under Training there are links to over two-hundred self-paced online training opportunities. Many of these are through AASHTO’s TC3 program and are available to your DOH employees at no-charge. They also have several classes that are targeted to transportation workers.

Safety Talks 

This is a series of one and two page handouts on public works safety topics. 

3. If you go to our Resources Tab on the main website, you can also get to our video library there. This is also where we house our Document Library  which again has numerous resources that can be printed out. For instance, the Gravel Roads Construction and Maintenance Guide. 

4. Additionally, if you go to the Training Tab on the main website, and select either the Snow and Ice Control Workshop or Roadway Management Conference, you will be able to assess both recordings of online sessions as well has any handouts and presentations that were provided.
