Each summer the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) awards scholarships of up to $12,000.00 to selected students. To qualify for a scholarship, the student must be enrolled in a Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental) or Accounting baccalaureate degree program. The student must also be a West Virginia resident and have been employed as a Highways Co-op in good standing for at least one year. Upon graduation the student is offered employment and must work for a specified period of time with WVDOH to pay back the funds or repay the scholarship.
Applications are due May 31st of each year. Attached is a link to the application packet.
