​​Language Assistance 

The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Public Transit, provides free language assistance services to qualify individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). If you need translation or interpretation services to access our programs, please notify the Division at 304-558-0428 or via email at DOTPublicTransit@wv.gov. These services are provided free of charge.

The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Public Transit, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ensures that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. We further comply with all applicable federal and state non-discrimination laws regarding disability, sex, age, and low-income status.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Division of Public Transit provides reasonable modifications to its policies, practices, and procedures to ensure that individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to use our services. ADA Complaints

If you have a complaint about the accessibility of our transit programs, or believe you have been discriminated against because of your disability, you can file a complaint.  Click here for the complaints procedures and form.  Please provide all facts and circumstances surrounding your issue or complaint so we can fully investigate the incident.  If you are unable to complete a written complaint due to a disability or if information is needed in another language, we can assist you.  Please contact us at 304-558-0428 or DOTPublicTransit@wv.gov.

​You may also file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office of Civil Rights if you believe your rights have been violated. Complaints may be submitted to the FTA via their official portal at www.transit.dot.gov or by mail to the FTA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
