BURLINGTON,
W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) announces that WV Route
42 will be reduced to one lane near Grant County Mulch, beginning as early as
Feb. 27.
The lane closure, located approximately 1.5 miles north of Patterson Creek Road
(Grant County Route 5), will be in place 24 hours a day. This is necessary for
the WVDOH to replace a bridge superstructure over the South Fork of Lunice
Creek.
Traffic
will be maintained through the project by use of temporary traffic signals.
Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone.
Work
is expected to be completed in approximately three months.
