BURLINGTON – The
West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of construction activity
winding down on WV Route 9 at I-81 near Exit 16.
Beginning
Tuesday, Nov. 14, work will pause for the winter. Construction in the area will
resume as weather allows in the spring of 2018.
Additional
work to be completed includes the resurfacing of asphalt surfaces on WV Route 9
from the intersection with Rock Cliff Drive to the intersection with Warm
Springs Avenue, texturing and smoothing of the repaired concrete surfaces, and
shoulder repair for the entire length.
Signage
will be in place in advance of the work in the spring to inform motorists of
any upcoming activities.
