Virginia Division of Highways announces the planned closure of CR 14/7, Wells
Locks Road, beginning on Monday, October 24, 2016, according to Dave Burris,
District Three Maintenance Engineer.
Wirt
CR 14/7, Wells Locks Road, will be closed to ALL traffic 2.74 miles from WV 14 to
allow for culvert replacement. Crews
will be working between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with an
anticipated completion date of October 25, 2016.
Motorists
should plan ahead and must use an alternate route during this closure. The suggested alternate route for the public
is Virginia Avenue. Please be advised
that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
