Virginia Division of Highways announces delays on Pleasants County Route 5, Freeland
Road (at the Hebron Bridge), beginning on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, due to bridge
deck replacement, according to Keeling Fife, District Three Bridge Engineer.
Motorists
traveling Pleasants CR 5 (1.05 miles from the Ritchie County line) between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. will experience significant delays and should
consider using an alternate route if possible.
Flaggers will be present to maintain traffic flow and motorist are asked
to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
The
anticipated completion date of this project is May 18, 2017. Please be advised that inclement weather or
unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
